Cancellation Policy
MirthCotton items are printed to order, so there is a short window between your payment and the moment the press starts. This page explains exactly how long that window is and what happens on either side of it.
Free changes and cancellations — within 12 hours
You can change or cancel your order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it, as long as it has not yet entered production. Email support@mirthcotton.com with your order number and what you would like changed. We can adjust:
- size, colour or design
- quantity
- shipping address
- or cancel the order completely for a full refund
When production starts
Orders are released to our fulfilment partner and enter production 12 hours after payment is confirmed (or sooner during quiet periods, if we can print early). Once the file has gone to press, the shirt is physically being made and can no longer be cancelled, changed or redirected.
After production has started
- Cancellation: no longer possible. The order will ship as placed.
- Address change: we will try, but we cannot promise it. Once a label is printed the address is fixed.
- If the item turns out to be faulty, misprinted or wrong, our Refund & Return Policy still applies in full — a cancellation window closing never removes your right to a free replacement or refund for our mistakes.
Cancellation fees
We do not charge any cancellation fee. A cancellation approved within the window is refunded in full, including the shipping fee, to your original payment method in US dollars (USD). Your bank typically posts the refund within 5–10 business days.
Cancellations by us
Very occasionally we may need to cancel an order — for example if a design is withdrawn, a size sells out at the print facility, we cannot ship to your country, or a payment fails our fraud checks. If that happens we will email you and refund 100% of what you paid, with no deduction.
How to request a cancellation
Email support@mirthcotton.com with the subject line “Cancel order #____”. Requests sent through social media or left as a website comment are not monitored and may miss the window. We reply within 24 hours, Mon – Sat.
